CAMP BASICS

Based on the theme verse 2 Corinthians 13:14, Badlands Ministries’ 2023 summer curriculum focuses on the Trinity. Each day will dive into a different part of the Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit and in the end, we will talk about what that means for all of us. Day Camp is a special place where campers are placed in small groups with a counselor who guides them through exciting activities each day. We hope this summer is a time for your whole family to grow in faith through this experience! Join us for our closing worship at 4:30pm on Thursday!

SERVICE PROJECT

Each summer, Badlands Ministries partners with an organization to live out our Christian faith through service. This year we will be collecting non-perishable food items! Please bring one or more items with you! Caring for all of God’s people is central to our faith-the Spirit equips us for this important task! We encourage you to demonstrate this in your own life as you consider the needs in our congregations, communities, and world. Let’s respond in faith to these needs. Thank you!

ALL ARE WELCOME

Kindergarten-6th graders and their friends are welcome to attend the full day camp program. 7th-12th grade students are welcome to assist as Staff In Training (SITs) All who participate will receive a FREE T-shirt!

CAMP FOOD

Snacks are a part of the camp program. Please indicate any food allergies on the registration form.*Don’t forget to eat lunch before Day Camp!

SPECIAL DAYS

Splash Day: Tuesday * pack swim suit, towel, and sunscreen!

Closing Worship: Thursday at 4:30 PM at First Lutheran Church

NOTES

• Age level is determined by most recent grade completed in spring of 2023.

• Please promptly pick up your children at the end of each camp session at the church.

Complete the registration form and return to First Lutheran Church at PO Box 747, Beach, ND 58621 or drop at the First Lutheran Church office with $30.00 per camper by June 18th.
